Job Description

Job Title: HRBP - Sales

Location: Mumbai (Travel as required)

Reporting To: Chief Business Officer

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (1st & 3rd Saturday working)


Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) for the Sales team to align HR

strategies with business objectives and drive employee engagement, performance, and

talent management. The ideal candidate should have experience in a fast-paced,

sales-driven environment with strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Partnership

  • Work closely with sales leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Provide data-driven insights to enhance workforce planning and productivity.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for sales leaders on HR policies, compliance, and people strategy.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to hire top sales talent.
  • Design and implement a structured onboarding process to ensure employee success.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce time-to-fill and improve candidate experience.

3. Performance Management & Development

  • Implement and manage performance reviews, goal-setting, and career development programs.
  • Identify skill gaps and plan training & upskilling programs to enhance employee productivity.
  • Facilitate leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future sales leaders.

4. Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Develop and execute engagement initiatives to boost motivation and reduce attrition.
  • Conduct stay interviews, pulse surveys, and exit interviews to gather insights for continuous improvement.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts effectively.5. Compensation & Benefits Management
  • Ensure competitive salary structures and incentive programs for sales teams.
  • Work with finance and leadership to design and implement retention strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends to keep compensation packages market-competitive.

6. HR Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and manage compliance-related documentation.
  • Keep the organization updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting the workforce


Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in HRBP roles (preferably in sales-driven organizations).
  • Education: MBA/PGDM in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Core Skills:
  1. Strong understanding of sales operations and incentive structures.
  2. Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
  4. Proficiency in HR tools, analytics, and performance management systems.
  5. Knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance.
