Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Chief Business Officer (CBO) - School Fundraising to lead and drive our fundraising initiatives within the education sector, focusing on IB / IGCSE and private schools across India's top cities. This role involves creating and executing strategies to raise funds from schools for healthcare causes, building strategic partnerships with educational institutions, and leading a high-performing fundraising team.
Job Location : Mumbai (Andheri - Marol)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising Strategy Development: Design and implement effective fundraising strategies targeting schools, leveraging relationships with educational institutions to achieve fundraising goals.
2. School & Student Engagement: Engage with school management, alumni associations, and student bodies to drive participation in fundraising campaigns.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of fundraising professionals and student ambassadors, ensuring they meet fundraising targets.
4. Partnership Development: Form partnerships with schools, educational networks, and relevant stakeholders to promote the platform and fundraising initiatives.
5. Campaign Planning: Oversee the planning and execution of student-led fundraising campaigns, monitoring their progress and optimizing results.
6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders, ensuring the continued support of fundraising activities.
7. Innovation in Fundraising: Leverage digital tools, social media, and innovative outreach methods to enhance engagement with schools and students.
8. Performance Monitoring: Set clear KPIs for fundraising efforts and regularly evaluate campaign performance, making necessary adjustments.
Job Requirements:
Education: MBA or equivalent degree, with at least 10 years of experience in fundraising, business development, or a similar field.
Experience: Proven track record of leading successful fundraising initiatives, preferably in the education or non-profit sectors.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and motivating high-performing teams.
Networking: An established network within the education sector, including IB/IGCSE schools.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute plans that align with organizational objectives.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Digital Proficiency: Experience with digital marketing, crowdfunding platforms, and social media to drive fundraising efforts.
