About the job:
- We are seeking an exceptional Vice President of Business Development & Fund Raising to lead our capital-raising and strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive business development and capital-raising strategy aligned with the fund's long-term objectives.
- Provide strategic insights to the executive team, identifying growth opportunities and advising on market positioning.
Investor Targeting & Acquisition:
- Identify, engage, and secure investments from HNIs, family offices, and institutional investors, ensuring a diversified and resilient investor base.
- Leverage your network to facilitate introductions and build pipelines of prospective investors.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with financial advisors, wealth managers, and distribution partners.
- Serve as the primary contact for investor inquiries, ensuring prompt and high-quality service.
Market Intelligence:
- Conduct continuous market research to identify emerging opportunities, track competitive landscape shifts, and anticipate industry trends.
- Utilize insights to refine business development strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Compelling Communication:
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, pitches, and communications tailored to prospective and existing investors.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop, refine, and disseminate promotional materials and campaigns.
Investor Relations & Reporting:
- Oversee all aspects of investor relations, ensuring transparent and timely communication of fund performance, strategy updates, and market outlook.
- Deliver regular performance reports and updates to stakeholders, aligning investor expectations with fund performance.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure all business development and fundraising activities comply with SEBI regulations and relevant legal frameworks.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, transparency, and integrity in all engagements.
Industry Representation:
- Represent O'Neil Capital Management India at high-profile industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing visibility and reinforcing our reputation within the investment community.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
- An MBA or relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development, fundraising, or a related role within the AIF category, hedge funds, wealth management, or broader financial services industry.
- Prior experience with SEBI-registered Category III AIFs is highly desirable.
Network:
- Extensive and demonstrable network within the HNI, family office, wealth management, and distributor communities.
- Proven ability to leverage relationships to achieve significant fundraising goals.
Track Record:
- Demonstrated success in raising substantial capital and scaling investment funds.
- Experience in leading complex fundraising strategies and securing multi-million dollar investments.
Skill Set:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a high-performance team.
Regulatory Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements specific to Category III AIFs.
- Commitment to adhering to regulatory standards and best practices, with an emphasis on ethical conduct and transparency.
