Practice Head - Automation Testing Tools (15-20 yrs)

Role : Test & QA Practice Head.

Location : Pune OR Gurgaon.

Job Responsibilities :

- Build & develop the testing practice with a strong focus on Projects Delivery, Growth, Building Specializations and Expertise.

- Responsible for defining go to market strategy for the testing practice.

- Responsible for meeting P&L targets for the testing practice.

- Strong experience of RFP solutioning, including proactive engagement with pre-sales to share and co-solution for upcoming opportunities.

- Should have the ability to do hardcore ideation and come with an outright entrepreneurial mind-set.

- Guide team on technical issues on automation, integration, performance and other testing areas.

- Spearhead initiatives on PoCs, innovations and optimization drive for newer tools, frameworks, processes etc.

- Manage overall project deliveries as per agreed timelines, scope, and quality SLAs.

- Responsible for working with various stakeholders on test environment preparation, configuration, integrations etc.

- Hands on techno-functional leader with the ability to engage well with technical, functional and managerial leaders.

- Expertise in test framework design.

- Assigning Resources and Managing resource levels Issue resolution.

- Management of risks particularly from QA team, automation, product quality.

- Define and institutionalize testing processes, metrices etc.

Training / skilling team members on functional / automation testing for product.

Required Skills :

- 15+ years of experience as a hands-on leader who has built/co-built a testing & QA practice.

- Should have successfully managed P&L for a testing practice.

- Should have strong exp. managing as a Test Leader into Automation, functional and performance testing.

- Should have managed large engagements with extensive use of automation tools like Selenium / UFT tools.

- Preferred experience working on Salesforce Application.

- Preferred if candidate has experience into Microservices.

- Should be aware of Product Engineering Lifecycle.

- Exposure to latest BDD frameworks like Cucumber will be an added advantage.

- Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD continuous testing, lean testing will also be highly preferred.
