Job Description

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and project teams to understand the specific technical skills, qualifications, and experience required for each IT role.
  • Utilize various channels, such as online job portals, social media platforms, professional networks, and talent databases, to source potential candidates who match the job requirements.
  • Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates who possess the necessary technical skills and experience. Conduct initial screening interviews to assess their qualifications and interest in the position.
  • In collaboration with technical teams or subject matter experts, assess candidates technical skills through coding tests, technical interviews, or practical assignments.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers. Facilitate technical and HR interviews as required.
  • Keep candidates informed about the status of their application, provide feedback, and address any queries they may have.
  • Work with HR and hiring managers to extend job offers and negotiate compensation packages with selected candidates.
  • Collaborate with HR and onboarding teams to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to start their roles effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pool of potential candidates for future IT positions to reduce recruitment lead time.
  • Continuously assess and identify opportunities to improve the recruitment process. Implement strategies to streamline and automate various stages of the recruitment lifecycle. Implement enhanced use of automation in the process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment database.
  • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics, including candidate pipelines, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness. Present recruitment data at executive meetings to inform decision-making and improve overall talent acquisition strategies.
  • Candidates with a proventrack record in utilizing Zoho Recruit will be highly preferred.

    Requirements
    • Proven experience as an IT recruiter or Technical Recruiter in an offshore IT environment.
    • Solid understanding of IT roles, technologies, and technical skills.
    • Proficient in Boolean search strings to effectively search for candidates on various platforms.
    • Experience in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job portals and social media.
    • Familiarity with technical evaluation methods, such as coding tests and technical interviews.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment databases.
    • Attention to detail and keenness to improve the processes.
