IT Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a Masters degree to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for freshers or individuals with no prior experience who are passionate about project coordination and management. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, organizing, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects, while collaborating with various teams and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare discussion points for the daily stand-up calls, focusing on priorities, deadlines and potential issues, review project updates, task status and team work status.
• Ensure each team member has clear next steps and any dependencies are highlighted.
• Update project task in coordination tools e.g., Jira, slack, google trackers, skype and organization internal tools to reflect the latest task statuses.
• Follow up on overdue tasks or those nearing deadlines to keep the project on schedule.
• Adjust timelines and status if priorities have shifted.
• Send daily project status updates to stakeholders or team members as needed.
• Communicate any urgent project changes or timeline adjustments to relevant team members and clients.
• Document any new requirements or feedback from stakeholders.
• Review project risks and escalate any issues that could impact timelines or deliverables.
• Work with team members to identify and troubleshoot any technical or process-related challenges.
• Update project documentation, including task lists, sprint progress, risk logs, UAT sign offs and other documents.
• Prepare daily or weekly progress reports and trackers to keep stakeholders/client informed of the projects status.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, client side developer team and product managers to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Facilitate handoffs or approvals between teams to maintain workflow continuity.
• Summarize the days accomplishments, note outstanding tasks and prioritize them for the next day.
• coordinate with team for daily task sheet submission.

Requirements:

• Understanding of project coordination, preferably in IT or technical project management.
• Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Project Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to work effectively across teams and with clients.
• Proactive in identifying challenges and offering solutions to keep projects on track.
