Role & responsibilities

Automation Lead with 7-12 years of relevant experience and below is the job description.

Technical Proficiency:

• Extensive experience in automation testing, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks and solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation testing, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript (at-least 2).
• Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium/Appium, Cypress, Playwright, Tosca, Katalon, or similar (at-least 2).
• Experience with test management tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with different types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Leadership Skills:

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor automation engineers effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in planning, prioritizing, and managing automation tasks, resources, and timelines to meet project deadlines and quality goals.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, feedback, and support to team members to ensure the successful delivery of automation projects.

Software Development and QA Experience:

• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience in software quality assurance roles, with a deep understanding of QA processes and best practices.
• Practical experience in testing methodologies, test planning, test case design, and defect management.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.

• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation testing.
