Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on, talented senior product marketing manager who will help take ideaForge products to the market, communicate it to the market and increase its adoption across the Global Enterprise, Homeland Security and Defence Markets.

As a product marketer, you will be the connect to the product and the outside world. You will be responsible for driving the success of the products globally, by understanding industry trends, leveraging research and empathy to understand the customers, industry, market and users. You must be able to set processes and develop SOPs and liaise between engineering and product teams for smooth product launches and sales enablement.

You must be able to monitor product marketing and interpret and intertwine product and marketing metrics. You must be able create strategies to position the product in different market segments, help drive adoption, and thereby, increase demand and accelerate sales. You will present to a broader audience of customers, partners and sales teams to present new product features or the product itself. You will help empower sales, marketing, product teams with collateral that clearly communicates the USPs of the product, which further identifies the strengths of ideaForge products over the competitions.

In this cross functional role, you will be at the centre of product launches and drive them to succession along with your team. You will constantly engage and excite customers with new offerings and upgrades within the product.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create GTM strategy for product launches.
  • Create SOPs and strategy for liaising with multiple internal teams and stakeholders
  • Lead a team of product marketers to successfully drive product marketing goals
  • Drive market research to understand market drivers, target audience, personas and competitive landscape
  • Liaising with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering to create the messaging strategy conveying the value of ideaForge products for different audiences
  • Help drive the product content strategy to develop key use cases ROI metrics.
  • Create a strong product communication and branding strategy to in turn drive compelling, high-quality sales and marketing content and collateral
  • Liaising and leading different technology collaborations and their GTMs.
  • Successfully collect and implement customer feedback.
  • Conduct research and business analytics to understand the GTM communications
  • Lead product launches, ensuring that all go-to-market stakeholders are properly enabled
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure the communication is standard for all digital avenues
  • Support other marketing funnel growth activities, such as SEO, social media, marketing campaigns, and technology events in order to create product demand.
  • Conduct product webinars, presentations to internal and external stakeholders like sales employees, customers partners
  • Have constant interaction with customers to gain insights and help perfect your own strategy
  • Build a concurrent strategy with customers to help collect NPS, CSAT and other feedback and drive this with the internal stakeholders.
  • Identify, benchmark assess the impact of your work against key business metrics

Skills Qualification:

  • 7+ years of experience as Product Marketing Manager especially in B2B technology
  • Computer science / engineering / technical undergrad degree
  • MBA or equivalent experience (e.g., 2+ years of management consulting experience)
  • Track record developing messaging that translates technology into business value
  • Understanding of hardware sales, and subscription business models
  • Being a self-motivated professional capable of thriving in fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional leadership skills to drive execution of cross-functional efforts
  • Experience handling software and hardware experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
  • Experience of leading and building a team
  • Proven track record for building processes and SOPs to drive results
