Job Description for Business Analyst Domestic BPO

Position Title: Business Analyst

Department: Operations/Business Process Optimization

Location: Noida

Experience Level: 2-5 years

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for process improvements.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for enhancement.

2. Process Improvement:

• Analyze current business processes and identify bottlenecks.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Create detailed workflows, process maps, and use cases.

3. Reporting and Data Analysis:

• Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for decision-making.

4. Project Management:

• Act as a liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and management.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions within scope and budget.

5. Technology and Tools:

• Work with CRM, ERP, and other tools used in BPO operations.
• Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems.

6. Documentation and Training:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business cases, user manuals, and training materials.
• Train teams on new processes and tools.

7. Stakeholder Management:

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and provide regular updates on progress.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with tools like Visio or Lucidchart for process mapping.
• Basic understanding of SQL or database management is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a domestic BPO environment.
• Hands-on experience in process optimization and operational improvement.
• Familiarity with quality frameworks like Six Sigma or Lean is an advantage.
