Developer - Identity & Access Management - IDP

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Identity Provisioning Developer with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining secure and scalable identity provisioning applications, using a wide range of technologies and tools in the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the provisioning platform while ensuring smooth integration into the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Front-End Development:

1. Design, develop, and maintain web-based user interfaces using React and Carbon Design System.
2. Implement responsive, accessible, and user-friendly designs to enhance the end-user experience.
3. Utilize JavaScript to build dynamic, interactive web applications and integrate with back-end APIs.
4. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
5. Work with CICD pipeline for seamless and automated deployment of front-end applications.

Back-End Development:

1. Design and develop robust and scalable back-end services using Spring Boot, Python, Flask, and FastAPI.
2. Integrate and interact with DB2 databases to store and retrieve identity-related data.
3. Ensure high performance and reliability in processing identity requests.
4. Build and maintain RESTful APIs for secure identity provisioning and management.

Cloud Application Deployment:

1. Deploy applications and services to IBM Cloud Cirrus environment.
2. Ensure smooth integration of identity provisioning services with the cloud infrastructure, including automation of deployment pipelines.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and performance issues in cloud environments.
4. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, security experts, and other developers, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
5. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
6. Continuously improve the development process, ensuring that CICD practices are adhered to for both front-end and back-end systems.

Skills and
Qualifications:

Proven experience in front-end and back-end development with the following technologies:

Front-End:
React, Carbon Design System, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles.

Back-End:

Spring Boot, Python, Flask, FastAPI, RESTful APIs.

Databases:

1. Proficiency in working with DB2 databases and managing identity data.
Cloud and Deployment:Experience with IBM Cloud Cirrus and deploying applications in cloud environments.
2. DevOps/CICD:Familiarity with CICD pipeline and automation tools for efficient deployment and testing.
3. Experience in identity and access management or provisioning is a plus.
Soft Skills:
4. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
6. Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
7. Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet project deadlines.

Preferred technical and professional experience

1.Specialisation in Java, Java Spring, Agile

2.Extensive experience with J2EE technologies (e.g., Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB, JMS).
