Assistant Vice President - Global Compensation & Benefits
Job Summary:
- The Global Compensation and benefits Manager/AVP is expected to lead the Geographic wise Compensation and benefits matters.
- This will involve a subject matter expert, who is quick to assess the needs of the assigned GU through the HR business partners/Business.
- He/She is required to lay out the strategy and framework for Rewards priorities for the assigned Geography along with a robust implementation overview.
- He/She will drive the overall strategy in line with the Global rewards strategies and would keep in mind the principles of external market practices, internal affordability principles too while ensuring the legal compliances are also met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the priorities of the organization, business and Global comp and ben function.
- Articulate the needs of the business and translate this to Comp and Ben strategies for the region keeping in mind external, internal and affordability principles.
- Handle stakeholder conversations with HR and business as and when required.
- Ability to conduct period market data checks in conjunction with the Comp and Ben projects lead and leverage outcomes and analysis.
- Translate design and compensation and benefits proposals to execution and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation.
- Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compensation-related issues.
- Handle benefits review and design for both insurance and non insurance matters for the assigned geography.
- Manage compensation-related projects and initiatives.
- Manage and drive all Comp and Benefits matters along with the assigned team members.
- Coach and guide the team members as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-11 or 10-15 years of experience in compensation management role.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Should be agile and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong mentor and coach to assigned team members.
- Highly proactive with a strong bias towards execution and closure of matters.
- Self starter with ability to multi task, multi prioritize and strong drive.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar industry.
- Must have handled 1 to 2 FTE in the past.
