Linux System Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator (L3 Level) to lead complex system, network, and security issue resolutions, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure high availability and security of Linux/Ubuntu environments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in advanced Linux administration, security mechanisms, and cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. L3 Level Support for Linux/Ubuntu System Administration

• Lead the resolution of complex system, network, and security issues escalated by L2/L3 teams.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability Linux/Ubuntu infrastructure.
• Implement advanced security mechanisms like SELinux, AppArmor, OSSEC, and CrowdStrike.
• Respond to security incidents and perform system hardening.
• Conduct training sessions on advanced Linux/Ubuntu topics for the technical team.

2. Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud resources (VMs, storage, networking, databases).
• Optimize cloud resource utilization to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Manage cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, and firewalls.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Ubuntu/RHEL).
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex system, network, and security issues.
• Strong knowledge of security mechanisms (SELinux, AppArmor, OSSEC, CrowdStrike).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud networking.
• Hands-on experience in automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
