Job Description:
The Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to drive business growth in the eCommerce logistics sector. This role will focus on leveraging performance marketing tactics to acquire and retain customers while optimizing ROI across paid channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance-based digital marketing, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and manage data-driven paid media campaigns across a variety of channels (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Display, and more) aimed at customer acquisition, lead generation, and brand awareness in the eCommerce logistics space.
- Design tailored marketing strategies to attract eCommerce businesses, third-party logistics providers, and other key stakeholders in the supply chain.
- Create campaigns focused on driving both customer conversions and long-term loyalty.
Optimization & Performance Tracking:
- Continuously optimize campaigns by analyzing performance metrics (e.g., CPA, ROAS, CAC, LTV) and making adjustments to improve efficiency and results.
- Apply A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and other techniques to maximize the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
- Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to meet aggressive performance goals.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Use analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and others to track and report on campaign performance, ensuring that results are aligned with business objectives.
- Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders to inform decision-making.
- Create detailed performance reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Budget Management:
- Manage the performance marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation across channels and campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Ensure marketing spend stays within budget while maintaining or improving performance metrics.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with product, creative, and content teams to ensure that campaigns are aligned with branding, messaging, and customer pain points specific to eCommerce logistics.
- Work with sales and customer support teams to refine targeting strategies, improve customer acquisition, and enhance customer experience.
- Effectively communicate campaign results, updates, and strategy adjustments to internal stakeholders.
Market Research & Trend Monitoring:
- Stay informed on trends and innovations in both the eCommerce and logistics industries to apply the latest best practices in performance marketing.
- Regularly assess competitor activity to ensure that marketing strategies remain competitive and forward-thinking.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, preferably with a focus on eCommerce, logistics, or B2B sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of digital advertising channels, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and display networks.
- Proven track record of driving customer acquisition, retention, and conversions through performance marketing in a competitive, results-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency with analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and familiarity with eCommerce metrics and KPIs (e.g., AOV, conversion rates, ROAS).
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present performance insights in a clear and actionable way.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and landing page optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping and eCommerce funnel strategies.
- Experience in managing paid media for B2B or logistics-related businesses is a plus.
