Manager - Design & Engineering (Heat Exchangers)

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute project design and drawing. Guide team for ensuring working on plan and completion.
• Complete design knowledge and codes for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other range of products of HRS.
• Manage internal and external customer response times for time completion of mechanical data sheets, fabrication drawings to specific codes like ASME, TEMA, etc.
• Initiate and monitor process improvement activities like drawing and design standardization, use of updated design software like PV Elite, AutoCAD, Solidworks etc, for enhancing quality of projects
• Coordinate with manufacturing department for quality & timely delivery of end product.
• Plan for project execution and commissioning according to commitments to customer.
• Customer visits for project discussions and approval.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. Mechanical or Chemical Engineer.
• 10-15 yrs of relevant industry experience (shell & tube heat exchangers, pressure vessels)
• Knowledge of design codes like ASME, TEMA, PED are essential.
• Knowledge of ERP and design software like AutoCAD (2D, 3D), SolidWorks, PV Elite, HTRI, ChemCAD, etc.
