Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Projects - Food Systems

Role & responsibilities

• Detailed engineering of food processing systems range of products: heat exchangers, pasteurizers, sterilizers, evaporators, turnkey processing lines, dairy & dairy-based processing systems.
• Preparation, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned projects, interacting daily with internal & external clients and updating status, visits to sites for installation, commissioning and troubleshooting for short and long term as required by the project.
• Understanding market requirements, designing a range of products to customers during and after techno-commercial discussions, order finalization with customers
• Planning and implementing project cycle for a timely and successful handover of the project to customers
• Inputs to detailed drafting for piping, fabrication, structural and similar drawings
• Inputs to factory at key project stages, coordination for approvals with customers
• Evaluation of bought-out components and vendors
• Ensuring accurate automation & instrumentation as per process requirements
• Support for project commissioning, and troubleshooting requirements at customer sites
• Visiting customers for business development and customer relations management

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have an understanding of processes like fruit pulp, food, beverage, dairy or similar sectors
• Open to travel pan India and/ or relocate as per business requirements
• Hands-on knowledge of systems engineering to commissioning of small & turnkey projects in food processing
• Knowledge of processing equipment design and project engineering, commissioning will be preferred
• Knowledge of b/o components & vendor management, AutoCAD 2D, 3D & similar design programs will be an added advantage will be added advantage.
