Senior / Mgr. Design Engineer - Static Equipment

Role & responsibilities

• Design of various static Process equipment like pressure vessels, columns, Heat
• Exchanger. as per various codes like ASME & TEMA.
• Should be conversant with design codes/standards like ASME Section VIII Div.1 & 2,
• TEMA & ASME Section II.
• Should be conversant with design software like PV-Elite, AutoCAD.
• Should be conversant with material specifications generally used for Pressure
• vessels and Process Columns.
• Design activities like Design Calculations, Stress Analysis & Review of Drawings
• Checking of Bill of Materials, documentation & maintain records as per ASME,
• Pressure Equipment Directive.
• Review Inquiry Specification sheets & Inquiry drawings provided by
• clients/consultants & provide appropriate outputs for the same.
• Review Inquiry Specification sheets & Inquiry drawings provided by

• Preparation and leading all design related activities for ASME U stamp audits and
• ISO audits.
• Close coordination with Projects, Procurement, Shop Planning, Production and
• Quality functions in order to meet all technical requirements as per Contract.
• Design and Detailed engineering of Pressure vessels and Process Columns for
• refineries/petrochemical industry.
