Job Description (Essential Exposure to Areas)

The Manager Design shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Projects study and scheduling of the tasks involved
• Client/consultants communications for queries/clarifications.
• Co-ordination with internal departments like projects, purchase, planning etc.
• Should have been worked in preferably manufacturing companies involved in process equipment/power plant equipment
• Should have designed equipment using various codes like ASME Sec VIII div.I, II, API, TEMA, HEI, IBR, BS/ UBC codes etc.
• Should have designed/ checked calculations & drawings of various equipments using design software’s like PVElite and Autocad.
• Should have knowledge of ISO pertaining to design activities.
• Perform all Design activities covering all engineering phases from basic, detail, commissioning, and construction according to the contractual requirements.
• Follow standards / formats / check lists to carry out routine work.
• Standardization of products/components/materials/designs.

Skills/Competencies Required

- Should have thorough knowledge of various codes like ASME, TEMA, etc.

- Knowledge of design/ checking of calculations & drawings.

- Should be well conversant with design software like PVElite and Autocad.

- Should have best communication and leadership skills.

- Should be well capable to take individual decisions.
