Senior Engineer Static Equipment Design

Established in 1986, Sungov Engineering is a group involved in design, manufacturing and supply of filtration, separation and other engineered equipment and systems is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, results-driven candidate to join our Engineering team to execute the following representative functions:

• Handle all engineering deliverables related activities related to static and packaged equipment design during bidding as well as project execution stage
• Study in detail customer specifications like Material Requisitions, Static Equipment Design Basis, Pressure Vessel Specifications, Painting Specifications, Customer Standard Drawings, etc and consolidate clauses applicable to our products during bidding as well as project execution stage
• Ensure optimal & adequate implementation of project requirements in project execution engineering documents like technical delivery conditions, general assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, transport drawings, calculations, etc.
• Support research & development of new products in static as well as rotating equipment domain
• Ensure implementation of ASME Quality Control manual (departmental functions). Represent Engineering department in ASME audits

The ideal candidate shall have the following credentials:

• A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering: 7-12 years of relevant experience
• Strong exposure to static equipment mechanical design per ASME Sec BPVC/Others including ability to do manual design calculations, PV Elite calculations
• Strong exposure to various material standards like ASTM/EN/JIS including carbon steel, low temperature carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex stainless steel & nickel/copper alloys
• Strong exposure to working with static equipment like filters, separators, coalescers; packaged equipment like automatic filtration systems, gas conditioning skids in oil & gas, power, petrochemical industries
• Strong exposure to end user specifications of EIL, ONGC, MECON, Shell, PDO, Petronas, ADNOC, etc
• Strong exposure to 2D & 3D modeling software, FEA analysis software, CFD simulation software
• Exposure to basic structural design of packaged systems is a plus
• Experience in undergoing ASME U/U2/S stamp audits is a plus
