Trading Manager

We are looking for an experienced Trading Manager for our Auto Logistics division with 10 to 15 years of experience in logistics and trading operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the movement and distribution of automotive parts and vehicles, with preferred experience in the GCC region. The role demands a deep understanding of trade compliance, supply chain management, and market dynamics in the auto logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade Operations Management: Oversee and optimize the entire trading process, including purchasing, sales, and distribution of automotive parts, vehicles, and related materials.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Manage logistics operations including transportation, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely deliveries.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and pricing within the automotive logistics space, focusing on the GCC market.
• Vendor & Partner Relations: Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, customers, and third-party logistics partners.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with regional trade regulations, customs laws, and internal policies. Proactively manage and mitigate operational risks.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, ensuring high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, track, and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for the logistics and trading division.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize the logistics network.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in trading, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in auto logistics and familiarity with the automotive industry.
• Proven experience working in the GCC region and knowledge of regional trade regulations and logistics practices.
• Expertise in trade compliance, customs regulations, and international shipping processes.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
