HR Generalist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated HR Generalist to handle the entire HR function independently. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, from hire to retire, ensuring compliance, employee engagement, and smooth HR operations. This role requires a hands-on individual with excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job posting, sourcing, and screening to interviews and offer rollouts.
• Coordinate and conduct onboarding sessions, ensuring a seamless joining experience.
• Maintain and update job descriptions as per business requirements.

2. Employee Lifecycle Management:

• Handle employee records, contracts, and documentation.
• Maintain HR databases and ensure accurate data management.
• Oversee promotions, transfers, and employee movements within the company.

3. Payroll & Compensation:

• Process payroll, maintain attendance records, and manage leave policies.
• Ensure salary structure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Handle employee benefits administration (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).

4. Performance Management:

• Implement and monitor performance appraisal processes.
• Work with managers to set KPIs and provide performance feedback.
• Facilitate training and development programs as per business needs.

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare:

• Organize employee engagement activities, team-building initiatives, and celebrations.
• Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and suggest improvements.
• Act as a bridge between employees and management, addressing grievances and concerns.

6. Compliance & Legal:

• Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Liaise with external legal and compliance authorities when required.

7. Exit & Offboarding:

• Manage the full and final settlement process, exit interviews, and offboarding formalities.
• Gather employee feedback and improve retention strategies.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and documentation handover.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a standalone role.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with HR software and payroll systems.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
