Role & responsibilities

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for driving HR initiatives for the Service Business unit, catering to Sales and Service employees across PAN India. The role requires a strong understanding of the service workforce dynamics in the boiler industry, the role includes -

1. Business Partnership & Employee Engagement:

• Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders in the Service function (Sales,Proposal,Materials,Design & Service functions) to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Regularly engage with field employees, service engineers, and sales teams to understand challenges and drive solutions.
• Conduct periodic HR connects, Employee engagement FGDs, grievance handling, and proactive interventions to enhance engagement.

2. Talent Management, Acquisition & Onboarding:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify resource needs and ensure timely recruitment
• Drive structured onboarding and induction programs for new hires, ensuring seamless integration into the business.
• Driving effective Talent Management Process and ensuring rigor in action implementation

3. Performance & Capability Management:

• Implement and monitor the Performance Management System (PMS) to ensure continuous feedback, one on one discussions and SMART goal setting. Key role in incentive planning and distribution.
• Support business leaders in driving productivity, identifying training needs, and enabling capability-building programs.
• Assist in coaching managers on handling performance discussions and career progression.

4. HR Operations & Data Management:

• Maintain and analyze HR dashboards to track key HR metrics such as attrition, engagement, and productivity.
• Ensure smooth execution of HR processes, including confirmations, transfers, exits, and policy implementation.

Finalizing HR Budgets, cost control measures at PU level

Job Specification

• Essential Qualification : MBA Human Resources

Experience : 3 to 5 yrs

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES OF THE JOB

Strong problem-solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

•Proficiency in HRIS, Excel, and data-driven HR decision-making.

• HRBP experience, preferably handling service employees in the boiler or heavy engineering industry
