This role is responsible for acting as a liaison between the business and IT within Enterprise Operations for managing/executing the testing process and providing implementation and post implementation support for the Integrated Quoting (IQ) CPQ (configure/price/quote) tool for HP Solutions Digital Services portfolio.
Responsibilities Learns the end-to-end CPQ process and tools for the Digitial Services software portfolio transactional quoting and ordering for both direct and channel routes to market as outlined below Design and creation of test cases and scripts in the Test Rail tool to cover processes from opportunity creation in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics, through quote creation in IQ, through order management in SAP systems and coordinated Revenue Recognition with Finance contacts
Coordination and execution of testing within the testing environment across the ecosystem. Includes coordinating with IT for test environment setup and test data synchronization, and creation of test opportunities, quotes and orders
Tracks results in Test Rail and coordinates with business stakeholders and IT in the resolution of any findings
Reports to Lead to Cash transformation to drive key results around improved sales and channel partner CPQ experience
Performs regression testing of new releases of IQ or new products configured in IQ
Supports pilot efforts to test in production golden transactions with key channel partners and sellers
Provides implementation support for Management of Change preparation of communications to channel partners and sales on the process and system changes/functions
Provides post-implementation support for questions, issues and escalations related to the CPQ process to sales and channel partners Utilizes standard project management and quality improvement methodologies in process improvement approaches. Identifies risks associated with system changes and capabilities, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provides guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise. Ensures that all processes and capabilities are aligned with the strategic objectives and adapt to changing business needs.
Education & Experience Recommended Four-year or Graduate Degree in IT, Business Administration or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 3-7 years of work experience, preferably in sales operations, business process improvement, IT development (system development lifecycle), business analysis, change management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
