Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SOX Automation Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions that support compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements. This role is essential for improving the efficiency, reliability, and transparency of our internal controls and audit processes.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy automated tools and scripts that support SOX compliance activities.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand manual SOX processes and identify opportunities for automation.
Create automated solutions for data extraction, transformation, and reporting for SOX audit evidence.
Support and maintain existing automation tools and scripts, ensuring their optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing automation solutions.
Ensure all automation solutions are compliant with SOX and relevant industry standards.
Work closely with compliance, IT, and audit teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with business objectives and SOX compliance needs.
Provide training and support to internal teams on the use of automation tools.
Document the development, deployment, and maintenance procedures of automation solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for automation projects.
Generate and review reports for management to track the effectiveness of automated solutions in meeting SOX requirements.
Monitor and enhance the performance and functionality of automation tools based on feedback and evolving business requirements.
Identify and recommend new automation technologies and best practices to improve efficiency.
Stay current with SOX compliance regulations and best practices to ensure all automation efforts are up-to-date.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

Typically has 4-7 years of work experience.
Proven experience in SOX compliance and/or audit processes is highly desirable.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, SQL, VBA, or similar.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of databases and data extraction techniques.
