The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for managing Secured Business Loans within the designated cluster.
The role involves leading and guiding the Area Managers to meet revenue targets, enhance profitability, expand branch networks, and implement effective sales strategies.
The Territory Sales Manager will also work closely with Business Heads to launch new products and identify potential market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Profitability Targets:
- Ensure overall revenue targets for the cluster are met on a monthly basis.
- Achieve revenue targets from all revenue sources, including processing fees, cross-sell opportunities, and yield.
- Ensure profitability targets for all products in the assigned cluster are met.
Branch Profitability:
- Ensure that branch profitability is maintained by ensuring Fee Income - Branch Cost, as measured by the branch scorecard.
Network Expansion:
- Initiate branch network expansion through network planning and identifying potential markets for growth.
Market Strategy Development:
- Develop strategies to scan the market for potential new avenues and generate revenue from untapped markets.
- Collaborate with respective Business Heads to launch new products for business generation.
Sales, Distribution & Disbursement Strategy:
- Formulate and implement the sales, distribution, and disbursement strategy for the cluster.
Sales Personal Discussion (PD):
- Review all cases within the assigned cluster and conduct Sales Personal Discussions (PD) to understand customer profiles and ensure the right sourcing of leads.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience of 7+ years in sales management or business development, preferably in the financial services or lending industry.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Post-graduate qualifications are a plus.
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate Area Managers and branch teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Secured Business Loans and related products.
- Experience in developing sales strategies, managing profitability, and expanding business networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to track revenue and profitability.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet monthly and yearly targets
