Job Title: Lead- Strategy & Operations

Role Overview: The incumbent will play a crucial role in driving execution across multiple data departments, managing startup discovery, deal tracking, investor relations, and ensuring effective data management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic acumen, and a deep understanding of operational efficiency within a data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution Oversight for Data Departments:

- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for various data departments, ensuring efficient execution of projects and initiatives.

- Collaborate with department heads to align strategies, optimize workflows, and drive cross-functional coordination.

Startup Discovery and Deal Tracking:

- Lead efforts in identifying potential startup collaborations or acquisitions, tracking funding opportunities, and managing M&A deals.

- Establish and maintain relationships with investors and limited partners (LPs), providing insights and updates on potential investment opportunities.

Sector Specialists and Comparative Analysis:

- Manage sector specialists and comparative analysis teams, ensuring comprehensive research on industry trends, competitors, and market benchmarks.

- Utilize data insights to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Data Management and Sales/Customer Success Support:

- Oversee the management of the people database and other essential data points, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for sales and customer success teams.

- Collaborate with sales and customer success departments to leverage data insights for enhanced client engagement and retention strategies.

Execution Teams and Manual Data Interventions:

- Manage execution teams responsible for different data engines, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with organizational goals.

- Oversee manual interventions in data engines, ensuring accuracy, clean-up, and tagging of data for improved efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience 10+ years in a strategic and operational leadership role within a data-driven environment, preferably in a startup or tech-focused company.

- Strong understanding of data management, startup ecosystems, deal tracking, and investor relations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize operational workflows.

- Proficiency in project management and process optimization.
