As the UI/UX Lead at VCCEdge, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience for our platform, driving product innovation, and leading a team of designers to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Design Leadership :

- Define and implement the overall design vision and strategy for VCC Edge.

- Build and lead a high-performing UI/UX design team.

- Mentor and develop the design team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals.

User Experience Strategy :

- Conduct in-depth user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.

- Develop user personas, journey maps, and customer experience maps to inform design decisions.

- Define and optimize user flows and information architecture for intuitive navigation.

- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs.

- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that illustrate the user flow and functionality of digital products.

Design System and Standards :

- Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system, including UI components, style guides, and design principles.

- Ensure consistency and scalability across the platform.

- Collaborate with development teams to implement design systems effectively.

- Ensure our platform works flawlessly across devices, from desktops to tablets and mobile phones.

- Optimize for touch interactions where applicable.

Data Visualization and Insights :

- Lead the design of complex data visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate insights.

- Partner with data and product teams to transform data into actionable design solutions.

- Ensure data accuracy, clarity, and accessibility in visualizations.

Team Management and Collaboration :

- Manage the design team's workload, priorities, and deliverables.

- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.

- Stay up-to-date with design trends and industry best practices.

- Work closely with developers to implement designs and iterate based on user feedback.

- Participate in design sprints and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Data-Driven Design :

- Dive deep into complex data sets and transform them into meaningful visualizations and interactive dashboards.

- Collaborate with product managers and data team to ensure data accuracy and relevance.

- Organize large volumes of financial data into logical structures.

- Design navigation flows that allow users to seamlessly explore datasets and analytics.

User Research and Persona Development :

- Conduct user interviews and create detailed personas for VCs, investment bankers, and PE professionals.

- Understand their pain points, workflows, and information needs.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of leading design teams.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex data-driven products, ideally within the SaaS domain.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design vision and rationale.

- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
