Cluster Credit Manager

Credit Risk Management:

• Oversee the credit approval process for clients within the assigned cluster.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and establish appropriate credit limits for customers.
• Ensure that credit policies are adhered to and that any deviations are justified with proper documentation.
• Manage credit risk and prevent bad debt by evaluating the financial stability of clients.

Team Management & Leadership:

• Supervise a team of credit officers or analysts to ensure proper assessment and decision-making in credit applications.
• Provide guidance and training to the credit team to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Set and review team performance goals, ensuring that targets related to credit approvals, collections, and risk management are met.

Credit Portfolio Management:

• Manage the credit portfolio within the cluster to optimize asset quality and minimize risk.
• Analyze and monitor portfolio performance, identifying early warning signs of potential credit issues.
• Work closely with the collections department to ensure overdue payments are managed efficiently.

Client Relations:

• Maintain relationships with key clients to understand their financial needs and provide customized credit solutions.
• Address client concerns related to credit applications or payment issues and provide timely resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
• Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in credit risk management, banking, or financial services, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to travel as needed
• Work in an office environment with occasional out-of-office meetings.
