Job Description
Cluster Credit Manager (Loan Against Property) Job Location: Coimbatore Vijayawada Salary: Max 15.0 LPA Experience: 10-12 Years
Responsibilities:
Oversee the underwriting of LAP applications within the assigned cluster, ensuring adherence to the company s credit policies and procedures.
Conduct thorough credit assessments by analyzing financial statements, property valuations, credit reports, and other relevant documents.
Update and refine underwriting policies and procedures to reflect market trends and regulatory changes.
Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate before finalizing loan approvals.
Lead and mentor a team of junior credit officers and underwriters, providing guidance and support in the evaluation of loan applications.
Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the underwriting team.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as property valuers and legal advisors to obtain necessary information for underwriting decisions.
Foster a collaborative work environment to achieve departmental goals.
Skills and Expectations:
10 to 12 years of experience in LAP underwriting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of effectively managing credit risk and underwriting loans secured by property.
Proficiency in financial analysis software and credit risk assessment tools.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and meet deadlines.
Leadership skills with experience managing a team.
