Candidate must have been a part of Army in the past holding rank of Colonel or Lieutenant Colonel during his time in the army. Candidates with experience in handling security and administration will be preferred.

• Manage Security function of the plants and colony.
  
• Monitor Deployment of Permanent and Agency guards.
  
• Make future action plan. Organize Surprise Checks, Security Rounds
  
• Initiate preventive measures. Investigations of theft cases. Report to Police Station on preventive/theft cases.
  
• Plan and implement budget and estimates to achieve the security standards at optimum cost.
  
• Liaise with Statutory Authority ie. Local Police and State Fire Officer
  
• Organize Security Audit to sustain the security standards.KRA2•Implementation of Complex Intelligence Strategies.•Organize gathering of informations from different sources.
  
• Collate all information. related to our Plant, Mines and nearby Industries and localities.
  
• Provide Management relevant Intelligence information.
  
• Collect relevant information from State / District Intelligence Officer and take appropriate action.KRA3To establish a well designed & planed Emergency Handling System.•Manage fire fighting team during fire or any emergencies at Hirakud Complex.
  
• Assess and identify Emergency Handling related training need of Security crew and ensure training to handle emergencies in the plants..
  
• To develop and establish a good repo with the outside agencies for extending support to the organization in case of emergencies..
  
• Ensure regular checking of fire fighting equipments in the plants and colony area for their serviceability and follow up with concern department to up keep it.
  
• Conduct t DMP Mock drills on onsite emergency plan
  
• Co-ordinate and share with near by Industries for monitoring their emergency preparedness.
  
• Conduct awareness training to key task force groups.KRA4To ensure sustained and consistent Disciplinary measures in the Complex.•Ensuring company policies, standard practices, Standing orders and various orders of the Management are implemented in time.
  
• Monitor and check individuals are using PPEs .
  
• Monitor and Check proxy punching.
  
• Explore and identify application of new gadgets to check Alcoholisim,Theft etc.KRA5Review &promote effective administration measures in the Complex.•Ensure proper discipline in the residential areas by organizing checking.
  
• Verifying the entries of visitors.
  
• Co-ordinate vehicle movement inside and outside the factory/mines premises.
  
• Ensure proper security during Labor checkout.
  
• Plan and organize the Gate controls at all the units and sitesKRA6Maintaining harmonious Industrial Relation in the Complex.plants/mine and its periphery.
  
• Close co-ordination with Head-HR at the time of crisis and labor unrest.
  
• Maintain relation with the nearby communitiesKRA7Administration Activities•Ensure timely renewal of transportation contracts of Cars as well as Buses including introduction of new vendors.
  
• Establish a robust transportation system.
  
• Ensure that the contracts for Guest House Mgt are allotted to competent vendors.
  
• Ensure that Guest House is well maintained and quality of upkeep is upto the standard.
  
• Organize Company events in a grand manner.
