Role & responsibilities :-

  • Should have previous experience in Pre-Sales Management roles, preferably in electronics or wireless communication product company
  • Experience of customer relationship management and support
  • Ability and experience to directly interact with customers to technically understand requirements and propose appropriate solution from existing product portfolio
  • Experience of managing customer product trials, both in lab and field environments
  • Ability to carry out extensive market research through primary or secondary data to understand industry ecosystem and competition, in order to recommend new products and additional features in existing products
  • Should have understanding and some experience of Bid Management like - understanding RFPs, checking compliances, raising clarifications, and submission of documentation for bidding
  • Should have some understanding and knowledge of process of product development like hardware, mechanical, software development, QA, production and manufacturing etc.
  • Good hands-on skills on advance excel, power point and MS word
  • B.Tech in Electronics and communication is a must.
  • Understanding on Wifi and Unlicensed Band Radios Products is must. Layer 2 Switch knowledge will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge related to Captive Portal, AAA integration & Mobile Data offload.
  • Candidate must open to travel throughout country on demand bases.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Presales Consultant to join our team. As a Presales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by providing technical expertise and support during the pre-sales process. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, product management, and development organizations to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with extensive experience in solution consulting, business development, and technical support, specifically in networking products like switches, access points, point-to-point, and point-to-multipoint solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and contribute to the technical direction of the company with a customer-centric approach.
  • Engage with customers across various verticals, including PSU, Government, large enterprises, hospitality, and education, to understand their needs and identify pain points.
  • Collaborate with partners and prospects to develop viable solutions based on requirements, services, and business needs.
  • Conduct presentations, interactive workshops, and customized product demonstrations to showcase solution capabilities.
  • Create comprehensive technical solution documents, including overviews, descriptions, feature sets, architecture diagrams, and scopes.
  • Assist sales executives and partners throughout the sales process, from opportunity qualification to deal closure.
  • Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting software issues, patch upgrades, and creating demo environments on cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key OEMs, partners, and clients through regular meetings and engagements.
  • Mentor and guide team members to increase effectiveness and engagement.
  • Manage the sales bid process by responding to RFIs and RFPs related to document management, information management, print management, unified communication, contact center, IP telephony solutions, and networking products like switches, access points, point-to-point, and point-to-multipoint solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.
  • 9+ years of experience in client-facing roles within the information technology industry.
  • Experience with solution architecture for document consultation, UC, CC systems, networking infrastructure, and UC applications.
  • Experience in writing presales proposals for networking products like switches, access points, point-to-point, and point-to-multipoint solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information to customers and partners.
  • Proven track record of successful presales support and deal closure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
