Application Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fiber Optic Cable Application Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in fiber optic cable design, application, and installation. The role involves handling the trials of cable jetting, end preparation, mid -Span access, preparation engineering notes and utilizing MS Office and SAP Tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed engineering notes and documentation for fiber optic cable applications
• Design and specify fiber optic cables for various applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee and execute the cable jetting installation procedures for fiber optic cables, including end access and mid-span access of various design of fiber optic cables.
• Understanding of OFC manufacturing process and testing parameters.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for fiber optic cable installations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of fiber optic cables into broader systems.
• Utilize MS Office and SAP tools for documentation, project management, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in preparing white paper and technical blogs.
• Conduct field visits and inspections to ensure compliance with installation standards and project specifications.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in fiber optic technology to apply best practices.
