Financial Close Analyst is responsible for Monitoring critical month-end close processes and jobs.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of essential close processes, including revaluation, allocations, consolidations, and management reporting.
Responsibilities
Drives the end-to-end implementation of system solutions for customers, including functional and unit testing in collaboration with IT experts.
Conducts regular system audits and assessments to identify and address system inefficiencies, data discrepancies, and process bottlenecks.
Evaluates business requirements, conducts research to address customer requirements effectively, and engages in process design and re-engineering to align with process requirements.
Engages with internal customers to address minor complexity issues and provide effective solutions.
Researches external sources to analyze emerging trends and solutions, while also generating innovative project ideas.
Resolves problems, including limited non-standard ones, and devises risk mitigation and fallback strategies.
Leads initiatives for financial system and process enhancement and contributes expertise as a project resource.
Develops and maintains system documentation, including user guides, process flows, and standard operating procedures, to facilitate system understanding and training for end-users.
Develops conclusions, recommendations, and written reports, contributing proactively through research and data analysis support, and sharing knowledge to foster a knowledge management culture.
Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying professional expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving various issues by following company policies and procedures.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 4-6 years of work experience, preferably in finance, internal audit, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
