Job Description
- Resource Management : Managing manpower, materials and machinery for optimal productivity.
- Production Oversight : Reviewing indents, approving batch cards and verifying raw materials. Coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure seamless machine operations and adhering to SOPs from wire straightening to final inspection and packing.
- Process Efficiency : Allocating resources effectively, conducting daily and weekly review meetings and driving continuous quality improvements in needle production.
- Training & Safety : Conducting workforce training, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and overseeing machine and process safety.
- Audits & Compliance : Participating in statutory audits (FDA, CE-mark, ISO 9001, MDR) and contributing to safety and work committees.
- SAP & Sourcing : Handling SAP production transactions and local sourcing for critical spares in collaboration with the purchase team.
- Machine Development & Maintenance : Supporting new machine development, preventive maintenance and plant-wide general maintenance for utilities like HVAC, ETP and air compressors.
- Breakdown Response : Ensuring prompt resolution of breakdowns to maintain 100% machine availability. Managing AMCs for critical utility equipment and overseeing equipment installation and commissioning processes.
