Senior Executive - Grant Writer & Fund Raiser

Job Summary

Build and sustain a comprehensive fund raising program through various interventions and across the network. He/ She will be completing the application process for financial grants provided by institutions such as a government department, corporation, foundation, or trust. She/he will be working to develop, establish, and carry out an effective multi-year fundraising program to support the HCG Foundation endeavor to carry out Cancer research programs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Identify appropriate potential grants in India
• Identify, Contact and Follow up with new business opportunities from corporate, Govt., and other donors that are aligned to CSR Strategy.
• Responsible for researching, writing and coordinating the grant application process; management of proposals and maintaining a donor database.
• Analyze the intended audience for the proposal for the better opportunity to tailor the content of the proposal to ensure it follows the ideas of the funding organization.
• Analyze the purpose of the proposal with the step by step plan for what will take place once funding is established and detailed budget listing of all aspects of endeavor and the costs.
• Follow up with proposals sent to the government department, corporation, foundation, or trust.
• Strategize and design fundraising campaigns, activities and events - direct-donor campaigns, event opportunities, group fundraising
• Develop various newer strategies to increase funding opportunities
• Collaborate with the team to compile annual report
