Gold Loan Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers inquiring about gold loans. Explain the gold loan process, terms, and conditions to customers. Handle customer queries and complaints effectively and promptly.

Loan Processing:

Evaluate the quality and purity of gold brought by customers. Calculate the loan amount based on the value of the gold. Ensure accurate entry of customer and loan details in the system.

Documentation:

Collect and verify necessary documents from customers. Maintain records of loan applications, approvals, and disbursements. Ensure proper documentation and safekeeping of pledged gold.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Adhere to regulatory and internal compliance requirements. Conduct regular audits of gold inventory and loan files. Identify and report any potential risks or discrepancies.

Collection and Recovery:

Monitor and manage loan repayments and interest collections. Follow up with customers for overdue payments. Assist in the recovery process for defaulted loans.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit regular reports on gold loan operations. Provide data for internal audits and management reviews.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years in gold loan operations or a related financial services role.

Skills:

l Strong analytical and numerical skills.

l Excellent customer service and communication skills.

l Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

l Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office applications.

l Knowledge of gold valuation and loan processing.
