Job Title: Loan Officer - Microfinance

Location: Baliguda, Aska, Purushotampur, Behrampur

CTC: 1.75 - 2.75LPA (PF + ESI + Petrol Allowance)

Reports to: Branch Manager

Job Summary:

The Loan Officer in a microfinance institution is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and approving small-scale loans to underserved and low-income individuals or groups. The role involves community outreach, credit risk assessment, loan disbursement, and ensuring timely repayment while maintaining a strong client relationship.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct community outreach to identify and screen potential clients for microloans.
• Evaluate loan applications, assess creditworthiness, and recommend approvals or denials.
• Disburse approved loans, educate clients on repayment terms, and monitor loan performance.
• Track repayments, manage collections, and assist with loan restructuring if needed.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on loan portfolio performance.
