Role & responsibilities :

Overview:

As Buyer: You will be a key player in sourcing and procuring and vendor development mechanical/electronics components and materials from RFQ to PPAP approval. Your role includes supplier management, negotiation, and ensuring timely, cost-effective supply while upholding the highest quality standards. Collaborating with various internal teams, you will contribute to the success of our R&D and daily production operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for mechanical/electronics components, equipment, and materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
• Lead material planning efforts, forecasting demand, and optimizing inventory levels.
• Continuously assess supplier performance, quality, and reliability.
• Ensure mechanical/electronic materials meet specified quality and performance standards.
• Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement with project timelines and production schedules.
• Maintain compliance with logistics, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Education qualification: MBA / Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Metallurgy/E&tc/Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• Procurement Expertise: Proficiency in sourcing, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.

• Mechanical/electronics parts Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Material Planning: Skill in forecasting demand and managing inventory.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities for favorable pricing and terms.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and optimize procurement strategies. • Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication.
• Supply Chain Management: Understanding supply chain principles.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of logistics, import/export regulations, and industry-specific compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools and procurement software.
• Language Proficiency: English & Hindi
