Assistant Manager- SAP PI/PO

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP PI/PO integration solutions.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to understand integration requirements.
• Develop and configure ESR (Enterprise Service Repository) and ID (Integration Directory) objects.
• Implement interfaces using SOAP, REST, IDOC, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, OData, and APIs.
• Requires knowledge on Web security standards such as OAuth 2.0/Certificate Client Authentication/Cert Generation/PGP/RSA.
• Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP PI/PO interfaces,
• Work closely with Basis team in performance and connectivity related issues or tasks.
• Provide leadership in migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (SAP CPI).
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and coordinating UAT with business users.
• Maintain integration best practices, documentation, and governance standards.
• Familiarity with error handling and alert management best practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of integration developers.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and integration.
• Strong knowledge of SOAP/REST web services, API management and B2B/EDI integration,
• Experience with Graphical Mapping, XSLT, Java Mapping, UDFs in PI/PO.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and API Management.
• Proficiency in NWDS (NetWeaver Developer Studio) and Java/J2EE scripting for custom adapters.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA, HRMS, CRM, and other SAP modules/cloud solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
