Roles Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and schematics for substations.

• Create general arrangement (GA) layouts, panel layouts, and cable routing diagrams.

• Prepare earthing and lightning protection system layouts.

• Work closely with electrical engineers to ensure designs meet technical and functional specifications.

• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to incorporate revisions.

• Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, and local regulations).

• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Maintain and update project documentation, including revisions and as-built drawings.

• Prepare bill of materials (BOM) based on the drawings.

• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent.

• Work with electrical design tools for substation modeling.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings or technical documentation.

• Support troubleshooting by providing accurate design details.
