Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for creating detailed electrical models and drawings for data center projects. This role involves working closely with engineers and architects to develop accurate and efficient electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of electrical systems using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accuracy of designs.
Prepare and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings for data center projects.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
Participate in design review meetings and provide technical input to optimize electrical designs.
Update and maintain electrical models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct quality checks and ensure consistency and accuracy of models and drawings.
Support the procurement process by providing detailed specifications and bill of materials (BOM).
Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, CAD Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in electrical modeling/design, preferably in data center or similar industrial/commercial projects.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard tools.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and emergency systems.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
