CAD Technician - Electrical (Oil & Gas)

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician with expertise in 2D & 3D modelling(AutoCAD, Revit/PDMS/SP3D), electrical engineering, specifically within the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD), software.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and project managers to develop design solutions for oil and gas projects.
- Produce accurate and detailed electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and panel schedules, in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Revise and update drawings as needed based on feedback and field adjustments.
- Assist with the preparation of technical documents and construction drawings for tendering and project execution.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a CAD Technician, with a focus on electrical design in the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in using CAD software such 2D & 3D modelling(AutoCAD, Revit/PDMS/SP3D/E3D).
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribution, and control systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including NEC, API, and IEEE.
