Assistant CAD Technician - Electrical

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant CAD Technician to join our dynamic team within the electrical engineering department. The ideal candidate will assist in creating accurate and comprehensive CAD drawings and designs for various electrical systems and components, contributing to the successful execution of projects. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for electrical systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit).
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to develop design specifications and project documentation.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain an organized database of CAD files, documents, and project materials.
- Assist in coordinating with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in CAD technology and electrical design practices.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Electrical Electronics engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Microstation, Revit), with the ability to produce detailed and accurate designs.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
