Lead - Finance & Accounts - CA/CPA (2-4 yrs)

About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance & Accounts Lead to join our growing team.

- In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of the accounting cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide insights to management.

- Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (income tax, sales tax).

- Advise on tax planning and compliance matters.

- Manage cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity.

- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members are meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a Finance & Accounts Manager role or a similar senior accounting position.

- Education: Master's/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Professional accounting certifications (CPA, CA, CMA) are a strong plus.

- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, ERP systems).

- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, macros, pivot tables).

- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
