Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to oversee the P&L management and day-to-day operations of our retail stores.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving profitability, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer service across multiple store locations.
This role requires a strong understanding of retail operations, financial acumen, and the ability to lead and inspire teams.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Management:
- Monitor and analyze store-level financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and margin improvement.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and control operational expenses (e., labor, inventory, wastage).
- Prepare and present monthly P&L reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and actionable insights.
Store Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of retail stores, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Optimize inventory management to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and shrinkage.
- Ensure efficient supply chain management for FNV and other perishable goods to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store operations, including staffing, customer service, and merchandising.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, train, and motivate store managers and staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team productivity.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer-centricity.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service across all stores.
- Address customer complaints and feedback promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and improve the in-store shopping experience, including store layout, product availability, and cleanliness.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly for FNV and perishable items.
- Maintain adherence to local laws and company policies regarding food safety, labor, and retail operations.
Qualifications:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-15 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in FNV, supermarkets, or grocery chains.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain processes.
