Mobile Automation Test Engineer - Appium (3-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.

- Conduct testing of REST APIs to ensure robust integration and performance.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and tools.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for testing and automation.

- Document testing processes, test cases, and results to ensure clear communication across teams.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to mobile testing.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in mobile application testing with a focus on automation.

- Strong knowledge of Appium for mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms.

- Proficiency in REST API testing, including tools like Postman or Swagger.

- Solid programming skills in Java, with experience in writing and maintaining automation scripts.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.

- Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git) and CI/CD tools (i.e., Jenkins).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
