Manager/Senior Manager - Controllership/Finance & Accounts - BFSI - CA (3-8 yrs)

We are hiring for an esteemed client of Innoquest that is (a large brokerage firm operating globally) Looking for a Manager/Senior Manager level candidate

Role & responsibilities:

1. Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions and documents throughout the month for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with general accounting principles and established internal control policies and procedures.

2. Ensure financial integrity and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes.

Partner with stakeholders across Divisional Financial Operations to improve financial and accounting accuracy

3. Record and review journal entries related to Divisional branch results

4. Review and investigate reconciliation variances, assisting management to develop appropriate action plans addressing issues identified

5. Provide support for internal and external audits including control walkthroughs, documentation support and inquiry response

6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functionally to meet strict project execution deadlines

Preferred candidate profile:

1. Chartered Accountant

2. Should have minimum 3 years post qualification experience as part of Global Accounting and Financial Reporting / Corporate Finance teams working on Preparation and Consolidation of Financial Statements and Reporting

3. Should have working knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP / UK GAAP

4. Should have working knowledge of doing variance analysis and P&L Reporting. Previous experience in FP&A can be an added advantage.

5. Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience of working with senior stakeholders / clients
