Deputy Manager / Manager - Manufacturing (Naphtha Cracker Unit)

Role & responsibilities

1) Ensure smooth operation of entire AU Plant, monitor Plant parameters and quality. Address the deviations that arise, with the Maintenance department. Carry out Shutdown & Startup activity in time bound manner.

2) Carry out regular PM job

3) Prepare SOPs

4) Carry out Job Hazard Analysis and identify & report the unsafe acts and conditions, in order to improve overall safety in Plant operation.

5) Develop the systems and procedures whenever required and provide guidance to the Panel Engineers/Field Assistant so that they can perform the job successfully. Ensure preparation of SOP schemes and communicate to Panel Engineers/Field Assistant about the same.

6) Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and proper housekeeping so that safe execution of job is ensured.

7) Conduct and participate in IMS Audit for ISO-9001:2015, ISO-14001:2015 & ISO-45001:2018 and various internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirement.

8) Accident/incident investigation and thereafter implementations of recommendations

9) Provide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained enabling them to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE / B tech Degree in chemical Engineering is required from a reputed Engineering institute.
• 6-8 years of operational experience in a large Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Sector or similar continuous process plants.
• Knowledge of Mechanical equipment like pumps, compressors, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns etc.
• Computer proficiency like Excel, word and Power point presentation.
• Analytical mind, learning ability ,managerial skill and adaptability to change
