Summary : VES is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join our team in Faridabad, India location. Manages all manufacturing activities such as operations, production, planning, process related improvements, layout improvement, 5 S, Kaizen activities, ensure compliance with quality standards at our Faridabad plant.
Develops capabilities and initiatives to drive operational efficiencies.
Is expected to utilize technical problem solving, effective financial and project management skills, and sound people management to meet business objectives.
Ensures compliance with company policies with a strong commitment to HSE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Participates in and provides direction for the long-term planning of manufacturing strategies, objectives, and plans needed to deliver results.
• Aligns production standards and processes across assigned areas. Applies the TQM (Total Quality Management) approach in department activities. Maintains quality control standards. Ensures data gathering, analysis, and corrective actions are put in place to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Works all functional areas to evaluate critical success factors and drive measurable significant results. Works to create and motivate an organization with high customer focus and discipline that allows the company to achieve product and service excellence that can be measured and is universally acknowledged by the customer.
• Develops and implements key performance metrics and ensures that resources are effectively utilized to achieve overall business objectives. Ensures that operating objectives and standards of performance are understood and owned by local management and employees across product lines.
• Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department and division progress toward stated goals and objectives. Develops and directs the implementation of recovery plans as needed.
• Promotes the development and implementation of best practices for quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, information integrity, etc. Encourages the automation of processes, streamlining information flow and consolidating knowledge within the company and with suppliers and customers.
• Oversees structured cost reduction efforts and drives extensive cost reduction through process improvements.
• Oversees Kaizen activities to identify and analyze operational improvement opportunities and supply chain performance.
• Participates in supplier improvement programs to maximize value and reduce waste at the supplier.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and ensure quality standards.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering with Experience in PCE manufacturing at least 15 years.
• Metal working, sheet metals and related processes, Assembly, and Rubber and Injection Molding
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and specifications, manufacturing processes, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in building team through attracting top talent, creating a collaborative and learning environment, coaching and developing direct reports and holding people accountable for achieving results.
• Experience managing customer-supplier relationships and working with both for value creation and waste elimination.
