Senior Manager - Quality Assurance (2-7 yrs)

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the plant head, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality assurance strategies aligned with business goals.

- Develop and maintain quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.

- Lead the quality assurance team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.

- Establish and implement effective quality control processes, including product testing, inspection, and reporting.

- Foster relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in quality performance.

- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and KPIs to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with relevant quality certifications and standards.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills.

- Manage customer feedback and complaints, driving effective resolution and continuous improvement.

- Prepare and manage the quality assurance budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency.

- Provide regular reports and updates to the plant head and other stakeholders on quality performance and initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Must have- Strong experience in developing and implementing Quality Management System (QMS), process improvements, and quality control measures and in tier 1 companies dealing with all Automotive OEMs, preferably in the CV sector.

- Quality management certifications (Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) are highly desirable.

- Strong experience in strategic planning and implementing procurement systems, including familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
