Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:


RESPONSIBILITY (List the responsibilities/duties associated with the job):


1 Handling of market feedback and warranty issues related to Pix Transmission Products. Act as an SPOC for all quality issues reported from field.


2 Product reliability improvement - Implement mechanism to monitor, analyze & improve warranty cost & failure rate.


3 Reduction in warranty cost by on-time closure of identified warranty projects through 7 step problem solving methodology.


4 Conduct weekly CFT meeting with IPQC, SQE, PDI, Production, Technical Services, Business Excellence and R&D to resolve customer issues.


5 Share CAPA with customer within defined TAT & monitor effectiveness of implemented solution


6 Handhold internal teams to build competency in problem solving.


7 Field & customer visits for prompt analysis of critical/ repeated concerns


8 Ensure updation of Quality documents (as applicable) like PFD, PFMEA, DFMEA, WI etc. once PCA is implemented


9 Work collaboratively with suppliers to resolve customer complaints related to bought-out parts and ensure closure reports are submitted against the critical complaints reported from field.


Authority (List the authorities associated with the job):


1 Authorised to attribute customer complaints as per analysis observations


2 Authorised to share improvement actions with all stakeholders


3 Authorised to conduct weekly CFT meetings


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:


- Qualification BE or Diploma in Mech./ Rubber Tech. Industry Manufacturing - Auto / Rubber Industry


- Addnl. Qualification Certified in Six Sigma or Reliability Engineering


- Experience 8-10 Yrs. Age 30+ Gender Male/ Female


Technical Skills:


- Reliability Monitoring 7QC tools


- Customer Quality Knowledge of Rubber Belts


- Complaint Resolution Failure Analysis


- Problem Solving (8D/ Six SIgma) Core Tools


Behavioural Skills:


- Customer Centricity Agile Communication Skills


- Collaborative Innovation Result Orientation


System Requirements: QMS/ IATF 16949
